Avoid this product like the plague. IT DOES NOTHING,
If there were minus 50 stars it would still be too high for this dreadful incarnation of Symantec’s once useful product. Foolishly I bought the 3-licence 360 box for £62.63, installed it and registered it all reasonably ok. Oh- except the Symantec website purchasing process fell over. But the real killer is – this product does NOTHING. It eats resource, updates itself and looks pretty. This morning I found my machine hijacked with Spyware, totally unusable and with my IE7 home page locked on various con porn and anti virus offers..my desktop background was also changed. Had Norton prevented this? Clearly not. Would it clear the stuff off once executing, NOT A HOPE. After 3 hours, Norton found – 3 low level threats. Sales of Goods Execs note this. I cannot get thru to Norton to complain, but I had to spend £24 on a decent Anti Spyware. BUY THIS GUYS – SPYWARE DOCTOR AND LET’S GO FOR SYMANTEC FOR GROSS REPRESENTATION

|Norton 360 online backup does not work,
I have to agree with the first reviewer – the antivirus product is great, but the Online Backup (which was the main reason I bought this product) does not work. I have also purchased additional storage twice, reactivated the product numerous times, had the storage refunded and purchased it again, and removed and reinstalled the programme. 3 weeks in it still doesn’t work. In addition the support team is in India and calls and emails in the middle of the night! The support is very poor, with technical support telling you to contact customer support and vice versa. They repeatedly tell you to do things you have already done and which do not work the third, fourth or tenth time you do them. I will keep you posted to let you know if this is resolved or I just give up!

Im a great fan of Norton products and have used their antivirus software since Version 4. So imagine my disappointment when I bought Norton 360 proclaimed the Fantastic all in one solution.
My first comment is there are Issues with Internet Explorer Vs7, basically it doesn’t work.{Microsoft say its a symantec problem} It also expects to take over your machine, making intervention difficult.[i.e. its not easy to turn it off if you wish to load a programme]
If you have an old machine, you can manually remove your temp files and defrag your disk. This programme does has the useful feature of being able to do it for you ayt the press of a single button.
